Divorce services can range between $1,250 and $2,000, and varies depending on which county you are filing in, whether the parties are in agreement, or if there are children in the relationship. Payment plans are available upon request. The pricing for professional fees does not include the court’s filing fee.

How much will a divorce cost?

The price varies depending on whether the parties are in agreement, or if there are children in the relationship. The court’s filing fee is $435 and is a separate payment from the professional fees. If you have low income, we can help you fill out a Request for a Fee Waiver so you can apply to not have to pay the Court’s filing fee of $435.00.

The first payment you would make would be the deposit and the filing fee. The deposit for me to start the paperwork and filings is usually 50% of the professional fees.

The remaining amount would be paid a few months later when you are ready to request the final Judgment from the Court.

Case Types Professional Fees Court’s filing Fee

• Uncontested Case (True Default)(No children & No property division) $ 1,250 (Unless the party qualifies for a fee waiver)
• Default Case with Written Agreement (includes a written settlement agreement (prepared by me) to be submitted to the Court) $1,500
• Uncontested Case (with children & property) (With written settlement agreement (prepared by me) to be submitted to the Court) $ 2,000
• Filing Fee: The court’s filing fee is $435. In some cases, a Request for a Fee Waiver of the filing fees can be submitted to the Court, so that the $435 fee can be waived.
